Seating is limited, so please arrive early! This event is funded by a grant from the East Central Regional Arts Council general funds. Thank you to the Hallberg Family Foundation for sponsoring this event, as well as support from the Music Connection in Forest Lake, MN. Tim Fast believes that the two most important days of our lives are the day we are born and the day we find out why! Native Minnesotan Tim Fast has been blessed to find an understanding of these days early in his life. Now credited with three award-winning albums, this nationally touring artist hangs his hat with some of the best American singer songwriters today! His love for adventure has given him a catalog of great original songs that have touched audiences from coast to coast! Aleah Treiterer is a 21-year-old singer/songwriter who recently moved to Minneapolis after she graduated college. She is originally from Northern California and loves the mountains. Aleah mostly plays acoustic guitar, and her songs have a folk pop sound to them. “I am super excited for the opportunity to share some songs I wrote!” Tom Peschges is a singer songwriter based in Red Wing, MN. As a songwriter he would describe his style as a storyteller, in the tradition of some of his songwriting influences such as Guy Clark, Verlon Thompson, Shawn Camp and others. John Denver is another significant influence in his writing, and he tends to incorporate humor in many of his songs, believing songs should have some fundamental truth behind them. The story itself may or may not be true word for word, but there should be a message that transcends the story itself.
